English, Persian and Arabic numerals work. Use a dot, comma or ٫ for decimals; use spaces or ٬ for thousands. A comma is always a decimal.

Your measurements stay in this page. No uploads, saved input URLs, or calculation requests are sent to a server.

Your estimate

Based on your inputs. Purchasing quantities round upward.

Results use SI units. Change individual input units or use the unit converter.

Prices are optional, user-entered estimates. A zero price means unpriced; there is no live price or currency conversion.

How the calculation works

The formulas

Enter measured net room areas and the coverage printed on one pack. Waste is applied before rounding up to whole packs; surplus compares purchased coverage with net floor area.

Required area = Σ(room areas) × (1 + waste/100)

Packs = ceil(required area ÷ pack coverage)

Surplus = packs × pack coverage − net area

Assumptions to check

  • This is an area allowance, not a plank-by-plank cutting or pattern plan.
  • Pack coverage and prices are user inputs, not live product data.

A worked example

20 m² plus 10% waste is 22 m². At 2.2 m² per pack, buy 10 packs; surplus over the net floor is 2 m².
