Your measurements

Start with the example, then make it yours. Change units beside each measurement.

English, Persian and Arabic numerals work. Use a dot, comma or ٫ for decimals; use spaces or ٬ for thousands. A comma is always a decimal.

Your measurements stay in this page. No uploads, saved input URLs, or calculation requests are sent to a server.

Your estimate

Based on your inputs. Purchasing quantities round upward.

How the calculation works

The formulas

Bars are treated as solid circular cylinders using nominal diameter. The default density is an approximate editable value; actual delivered mass can differ with tolerances and product specification.

Total length = individual length × count

Mass = π × (diameter in metres)² ÷ 4 × total length × density

Assumptions to check

  • No laps, hooks, bends, couplers, or cutting waste are added automatically.
  • This is a weight calculator, not reinforcement selection or structural design.

A worked example

Twenty 6 m bars of 12 mm diameter total 120 m. At 7,850 kg/m³, theoretical mass is approximately 106.54 kg.
